Regulatory & Introducer Disclosure

Last updated: 2 October 2026

1. About Sterling Bridge Finance

Sterling Bridge Finance is a trading name of Gem Master Group Ltd.

Sterling Bridge Finance provides finance introduction, brokerage and related services, connecting customers with appropriate third-party lenders, brokers, finance providers, insurers and other specialist partners.

Sterling Bridge Finance is not a lender.

We do not make lending decisions and we do not guarantee that an application for finance will be approved.

2. Our Role

Depending on the product, service and regulatory requirements involved, Sterling Bridge Finance may act as an introducer and may refer an enquiry to an appropriate third-party provider or intermediary.

Following an introduction, the relevant provider or intermediary may take responsibility for assessing the application, obtaining further information, conducting any required checks and determining whether a product can be offered.

The ultimate decision whether to provide finance, and on what terms, rests with the relevant lender or provider.

3. Regulatory Position

Different types of finance and financial services are subject to different regulatory requirements in the United Kingdom.

Some commercial finance activities may fall outside the scope of Financial Conduct Authority regulation, while certain consumer credit, insurance, mortgage and other financial activities may be regulated.

Sterling Bridge Finance will only undertake regulated activities where it is legally permitted to do so and where the appropriate regulatory arrangement is in place.

Where a regulated service is provided through an authorised third-party firm, principal, broker or other regulated organisation, the relevant regulatory status and responsibilities will be explained where applicable.

Sterling Bridge Finance does not represent that it is directly authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority unless and until such authorisation has been obtained and can be verified on the Financial Services Register.

4. Introductions to Third Parties

Where appropriate, we may introduce customers to third-party organisations including:

  • lenders;

  • authorised credit brokers;

  • commercial finance brokers;

  • insurance brokers or insurers;

  • specialist finance providers; and

  • other appropriately authorised or permitted intermediaries.

An introduction by Sterling Bridge Finance does not mean that we control the third party or guarantee its products, decisions or services.

Customers should review the relevant provider's terms, disclosures and regulatory information before entering into an agreement.

5. Commercial and Regulated Finance

The regulatory treatment of business finance can depend on the nature of the customer, the purpose of the borrowing and the particular product involved.

Accordingly, the fact that a customer is borrowing for a business purpose does not by itself determine whether a particular transaction is regulated or unregulated.

Where appropriate, the regulatory position of the specific product or transaction should be confirmed before the customer enters into an agreement.

6. No Guarantee of Approval

Submitting an enquiry to Sterling Bridge Finance does not guarantee:

  • approval for finance;

  • access to a particular lender;

  • a particular interest rate;

  • a particular borrowing amount;

  • any particular repayment term; or

  • completion within a particular timeframe.

All finance is subject to the relevant provider's assessment, eligibility requirements and terms and conditions.

7. Our Panel

Sterling Bridge Finance may work with a number of lenders, brokers, insurers, finance providers and specialist partners.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, we do not claim to provide a whole-of-market service.

The providers available to us may change from time to time and may vary according to the type of finance or service requested.

8. Commission and Remuneration

Sterling Bridge Finance may receive commission, referral fees or other remuneration from third-party providers or intermediaries.

Further information is available in our Commission & Finance Disclosure.

Where applicable law or regulation requires additional commission information to be provided, we will provide that information in accordance with the relevant requirements.

9. Customer Information

To assess and progress an enquiry, we may collect information from customers and, where appropriate, share relevant information with third-party providers or intermediaries.

Information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements.

Customers should also review the privacy information provided by any third-party organisation with which they proceed.

10. Financial Promotions

We aim to ensure that our communications concerning financial products and services are clear, fair and not misleading.

Where a financial promotion requires approval, communication through an authorised firm, or another specific regulatory arrangement, we will only communicate it where the appropriate requirements have been satisfied.

11. Questions

If you have questions about Sterling Bridge Finance's role in relation to a particular enquiry or wish to understand which organisation will provide or arrange a particular product, please contact us before proceeding.
